Passion concert – Pijnacker
This concert will take you through different aspects of the Passion of Jesus. You will hear music of lament that cries out for help in great need, music that tells of disappointment and the longing for redemption. But also music that expresses confidence and joy at the promise of better times ahead. In the Sunday Matinees series at the Abdijkerk in Loosduinen, the Voorburg Vocal Ensemble will perform a varied programme based on the theme of “time. Pianist Lieselotte van Tol, with whom we have often enjoyed working, will accompany us on this musical journey. Admission is free; collection after the concert.
